Wellness Info

SpaySA offers Wellness Services on Wednesdays, Thursday and Saturdays from 10:00am to 1:00pm . These days are subject change. We suggest you call and verify we will have Veterinary Staff on hand before coming in for Wellness. SpaySA Wellness Services are for pets who have already been spayed or neutered. If your pet is not currently spayed or neutered, please check out our Spay/Neuter page. For puppies under 10 weeks, we will give the first DHPP vaccine before surgery, but a surgery appointment must be made at the time the Wellness services are received. Our facility is primarily a spay/neuter clinic- we do not care for sick or injured pets. Please refer to your nearest Animal Hospital or Pet Emergency Room.

Who are We?

SpaySA's mission is to prevent the overpopulation of cats and dogs by funding spay and neuter services for domestic animals owned by the residents of San Antonio and Bexar County.

To develop, promote, and sponsor programs of education to encourage better understanding, greater appreciation, and better care of all animals.

To engage in other activities which encourage and promote kindness, consideration, and prevention of cruelty to all animals and to exercise all other powers, rights, and privileges conferred by the laws of the state of Texas.
